That Tuesday my client asked for 'something like a 1970s textbook cover' and I hit a wall
I spent hours looking at modern designs and got nowhere, so I drove to the old library downtown and just took pictures of actual books from that time. The faded colors and weird type choices I found gave me the perfect starting point and the client loved it. Do you have a go-to place for finding real-world inspiration when online searches fail?

Honestly, my go-to is my own messy garage, which is basically a museum of bad ideas.

Used to think all the answers were online until my own search for "rustic farmhouse kitchen" just gave me the same ten trendy photos. Finally walked into my grandma's actual kitchen, with its chipped paint and old spice tins, and it clicked. Now I hit thrift stores or even just walk around older neighborhoods when I'm stuck. The real thing has details you just can't find through a screen.
