At a friend's wedding, my minimalist invite design caused a family feud over fonts.

I mean, who knew people could get so heated about Helvetica vs. Comic Sans? Idk, maybe it's just me but typography shouldn't ruin a marriage proposal.

Fonts causing a family feud is absolutely bonkers.

Yeah, 'absolutely bonkers' is right... a buddy of mine had his whole Thanksgiving dinner ruined over Comic Sans on the family group chat. His aunt insisted it was friendly and fun, but his mom said it looked childish and unprofessional. They argued for hours about respect and taste... it spilled over into the turkey carving. Now they use separate chats for 'serious' and 'fun' talks, which just seems like more work.

Imagine ruining a holiday meal over a font choice. That's next level family drama. Comic Sans is basically the pineapple on pizza of the digital world, it just divides people. Creating separate chats is a wild solution, way more effort than just ignoring the silly letters. Some battles just aren't worth fighting, especially with gravy on the line.
