TIL our local library hosts a monthly kraut swap
I saw a sign at the grocery store for a fermentation meet-up next door at the library. They have a table where people bring their homemade sauerkraut and kimchi to trade jars. Last month, someone brought a spicy fermented radish mix that was a big hit. It's a fun way to try new stuff and get tips from neighbors.

People make clubs for everything now. It's just some old vegetables in a jar. Calling it a 'swap' and having monthly meetings feels like a lot. It's not like you're trading rare baseball cards or something. Next they'll have a ranking system for the best sour cabbage.

My friend's kimchi swap club, unlike @christopher_coleman's take, actually saved her from buying groceries last month.
