My 'experimental' hot sauce went from a mild green to a glowing pink in just 48 hours.

I threw in a whole beet from my garden on a whim, and now it looks like something from a sci-fi movie, but honestly it tastes pretty great on eggs.

That color change sounds wild but I trust the beet more than some lab made food dye. My grandma used to pickle beets and the juice stained everything for weeks. If it tastes good on eggs you've basically won the hot sauce game, glowing or not. Just maybe don't serve it in the dark unless you want to explain the neon pink condiment.
