Just hit 100 days on my first sourdough starter and it's still alive.

I was sure I'd kill it in a week, but now it's a pet. Anyone else get weirdly attached to their jar of bubbles?

Seriously, does anyone else talk to theirs? I caught myself apologizing to mine last week when I forgot a feeding, like "Sorry buddy, long day." It's not just a roommate, it's a whole responsibility. You start planning trips around its schedule.
