I know that sounds like nothing but the difference in the cup was wild. Two weeks of timing it with my phone on the counter, same grind, same beans, and the sock version pulled through about 2 minutes faster and tasted way less harsh. The paper was choking the flow way more than I thought. Now I'm wondering if a coarser grind would do the same thing without the sock hassle. Anyone else timed their cheap setup like this?
