Hit 500 filters rebuilt last month, my kitchen counter is proof

I keep a tally on a little notepad near my coffee station, and last month I hit 500 reused basket filters after cleaning and re-trimming them. Started doing this back in 2019 when a pack of 100 filters cost me $11, now it's more like $19 and I just couldn't justify tossing them. Each one takes about 4 minutes with a soft brush and a scissors snip on the bent edges, and I've gotten maybe 3 extra uses per filter on average. It's not huge savings, but the ritual feels like a small win every time. Has anyone else kept a running count on a gear fix, or am I just weird about tracking this stuff?

500 filters" and "4 minutes each" hit me like a brick, dude. That's over 33 hours of snipping and brushing for maybe $30 in savings. I respect the grind, but my back hurts just reading that.
