Fixed my grinder with a bike tube patch kit, fight me
I visited my buddy's place in Denver last Saturday and watched him throw out a perfectly good Baratza burr grinder because the rubber feet disintegrated. He said it was 'too far gone' which is nonsense. I grabbed a $6 Park Tool patch kit from his bike stand, cut two small squares, and glued them over the nubs with rubber cement. Took maybe 12 minutes total and the thing sits flat again on his counter with zero wobble. Am I the only one who thinks people give up on coffee gear way too fast when a little hardware store creativity does the job?
