Why does nobody talk about how much dish soap smell sticks to plastic containers
I switched to an unscented dish soap about 3 weeks ago after my wife kept complaining that our leftovers tasted like lemon. I didn't believe her until I sniffed a plastic container that had been washed and dried for 2 days, and it still smelled like the old soap. I ran a test on 6 containers, washing 3 with the old stuff and 3 with the unscented, and the scented ones held onto that smell way longer than I expected. Now I want to know if glass containers actually fix this or if I'm just going to spend $40 on new Tupperware for nothing. Has anyone made the switch to glass and noticed a real difference?
