Vent: my dish soap pump broke mid wash and I had to choose between dumping the bottle or fishing the spring out of the sink
Last Tuesday I was halfway through a sink of greasy pans when the pump on my bottle just gave out and stopped pulling anything up. Now I'm stuck wondering if everyone here just tosses the bottle when the pump dies or if you actually dig the little spring and ball out and pour from the top like I did. What's your move when a pump quits on you?
Been there and it drives me NUTS every time it happens. My last one died with a full bottle of the good stuff, so I pulled the pump out, dropped the spring in the sink, and just poured straight from the top for the next two weeks. Digging that little ball out of the drain is the worst part, but tossing a nearly full bottle feels like throwing money away.
