The scent festival at my sink turned into a regret fest
Last Saturday I grabbed four different dish soaps from the clearance rack to compare, thinking I was about to have a fun kitchen experiment. Turns out mixing lemon, lavender, and two floral scents makes my whole apartment smell like a spilled perfume counter had a fight with a citrus grove. My hands are red and cracked from swapping between them all afternoon, and the smell still hasn't faded even after washing everything twice. How do you guys actually test multiple soaps without turning your sink into a sensory nightmare, or do you just pick one and commit?

Ugh, that sounds brutal! I've totally been there with too many scents at once, it lingers way longer than you'd think and your hands pay the price. Honestly, I just stick to one unscented soap for daily use and save the fancy stuff for when I actually want a change, keeps the sink from smelling like a war zone.
