Hit 500 bottles washed with the same pump bottle of soap, still amazed

Bought a big refill jug of that lemon stuff back in March and filled up my old pump bottle. Just counted the refills in my head, 500 dishes? Maybe more, I lost track after week 3. The pump still works like day one, no clogging or sticking. That got me thinking, we all talk about which soap cuts grease best, but nobody mentions the pump lasting. My last cheap brand died at like 200 uses, handle snapped clean off. This one's going strong, so I'm curious, has anyone else actually tracked how long their bottle lasts before the pump gives up?

The real question is how many times you can refill that jug before the cheap plastic lid cracks, not the pump. I've got a bottle that's been going for two years but the cap hinge broke off and now I just pour it straight into the sink.

My buddy Marcus had the same thing happen with his dish soap bottle. The pump gave out after a month so he just started dunking his sponge straight in the jug. Then the lid hinge snapped off and he kept it balanced on the edge of the sink with a rubber band holding the top shut. Finally he just drilled a hole in the lid and now uses it like a squeeze bottle. Still going strong two years later but it looks like a science experiment gone wrong.
