Dropped $18 on a bottle of fancy lemon dish soap at a farmers market and my hands turned into sandpaper
I grabbed a bottle of some small batch lemon verbena soap at the Des Moines farmers market two weekends ago for $18, which felt insane but the guy let me smell it like five times so I felt obligated. Fast forward three days of normal dish duty and my knuckles are cracked and flaking, which has never happened with my usual $3 blue stuff from the grocery store. Has anyone else had a pricey soap wreck their hands worse than the cheap ones, or did I just fall for good marketing and a nice smelling booth?
