Debate: Is the new lemon verbena dish soap worth the hype or is it just overpriced water?

I grabbed a bottle of that new lemon verbena stuff last week at the Target on Main Street because everyone in this group was raving about it. Three years ago I would have just stuck with my usual Dawn, but after trying cheap brands that dried out my hands like crazy I wanted something different. My only problem is it costs $5.50 a bottle and I swear it cuts grease worse than the dollar store brand I used back in March. For those who've tested it for a month or more, does it actually hold up or is the scent the only thing going for it?

Buddy of mine bought into the hype and grabbed a bottle. He said it smelled like a fancy spa for about three days, then the scent just vanished. After a week he noticed his hands getting that tight, dry feeling again, same as the cheap stuff. He finished the bottle but went right back to the store brand lemon stuff. So yeah, nice idea but not worth the extra three bucks.
