Bought a $12 no-name dish soap at a discount store in Tampa and it left a film on every single plate
I grabbed it because the label said lemon fresh and it was half the price of what I normally get. First wash seemed fine, but by day three every glass and bowl came out with this cloudy white haze that I had to scrub off by hand. I ended up throwing out the bottle after two weeks and re-washing basically my whole cabinet, which cost me way more in hot water and time than the $12 I saved. Check the back label for the surfactant list before you buy off-brand stuff, some of them just don't rinse clean. Has anyone else run into a cheap soap that leaves that chalky coating?
