Tried a 5 gallon bucket of ATF in my fuel on a 2006 5.9 and the idle got smoother

Put in about a quart per tank for 3 weeks on my highway truck and my fuel filter came out way cleaner at the 12k mark. Anyone else running a little ATF in the diesel or am I asking for injector trouble down the road?
