TIL a Milwaukee impact can unscrew a flywheel bolt from a 6.0 Powerstroke
Was changing a clutch on my buddy's F-250 last Saturday. Got the bellhousing off, went to break the flywheel bolts loose with my Snap-on breaker bar. Thing wouldn't budge. Soaked 'em in PB Blaster, still nothing. Joked and grabbed my 1/2" Milwaukee impact. Set it to setting 3, zipped all six off in under a minute. Learned that 1400 ft-lbs of nut-busting torque beats a cheater pipe every time. Any of you guys trust impacts on flywheel bolts or still go manual?

Man I still remember a buddy of mine trying to crack flywheel bolts with a jack handle on his breaker bar and the thing just flexed like a wet noodle. He looked at me and goes "get the gun" so I grabbed my 1/2" impact and had them all buzzing off before he could even find his cheater pipe. Now I keep telling people the only time I go manual on flywheel bolts is when I'm trying to prove I still have some pride left, which usually ends with me cussing and grabbing the Milwaukee anyway. Ngl my back thanks the impact way more than my ego ever did.
