Threw $150 at a budget injector puller set and it broke on the third job

Picked up a knockoff injector puller kit off Amazon for a 6.7 Powerstroke job in March. Worked fine on the first two trucks but the slide hammer threads stripped out pulling a stuck injector on a third. Had to rent the OTC tool from Napa for another $80 to finish. Anyone else had bad luck with those cheap puller kits?

Had the exact same thing happen with a no name puller kit off Amazon. The slide hammer threads just gave up on a nasty Ford injector. Ended up buying the OTC one after that and it's been fine, lesson learned.
