That $75 injector puller paid for itself in one afternoon
Was chasing a sticky injector on a 6.0 in a flooded yard in Baton Rouge, and the cheap slide hammer setup kept popping off. Borrowed a real injector puller from a guy down the road, got all 8 out in under an hour, no broken glow plugs either. Anyone else keep a specialty puller they rarely use but would never sell?

My buddy Kyle bought one of those fancy OTC pullers for his 7.3 after fighting a stuck injector for two days with a homemade rig. He used it once, then loaned it to me, then it sat in his toolbox for like three years. Finally sold it at a garage sale for $20 and the guy who bought it sent him a pic the next week of eight injectors sitting on a bench like it was nothing. Kyle still talks about that damn puller every time we're drinking.
