Showerthought: my toolbox hit 200 pounds on the shop scale and it kinda got to me
Weighed my main box at the shop in Boise on a slow Friday, mostly out of boredom, and the scale said 203 pounds. First box I ever bought as an apprentice was a 26 inch bottom chest and I could carry it up stairs by myself. Now it takes two of us and a ramp just to get it in the truck. I sat there thinking about every hinge pin, feeler gauge, and that 1/2 inch impact I've replaced four times. Somewhere in those 203 pounds is 15 years of figuring this trade out one broken bolt at a time. What does your box weigh, and does the number surprise you or is it just me?
