Pulled a valve cover off a 6.7 Cummins this morning and found something wild
The engine had 180k on it and the inside looked brand new, no sludge at all... I checked the oil change records and the guy had been running the exact same Rotella T6 5w40 since 50k miles. Has anyone else seen that kind of consistency with a specific oil keeping an engine that clean?

Bet the guy isn't just religious about oil but also lets the engine warm up before hammering on it. Cold starts kill more engines than cheap oil ever will.

Rotella T6 is just that good. I've seen way too many diesels look like crap inside on the cheap stuff.
