Pro tip: switched from impact wrench to hand torque on injector hold-downs last month, and now I'm second-guessing myself
Did a set of injectors on a 6.7 in my shop outside Fort Worth, torqued by hand to spec and the truck came back smooth as glass, but a buddy swears his impact gets them tight enough to never leak. Is hand torque really worth the extra time or am I just fooling myself on a job that big?
