One Tuesday in Fargo fixed my whole week, then wrecked my Friday

Had a 2007 Freightliner come in with a no start, turned out to be a bad cam sensor. Swapped it in 20 minutes, easy money. Then Friday a 2015 Pete with the same code rolled in, I went straight for the sensor again, nope, it was a chafed harness behind the firewall. Took me 4 hours of chasing wires after being so sure. Anyone else get burned by assuming the same fix on a similar truck?
