Customer swore the truck was "fixed" after a can of stop leak
Guy comes in today, 2015 Freightliner, says he poured a whole quart of stop leak in the coolant and drove 400 miles from Austin. Now the coolant is thick as pudding and the water pump is grinding like loose gravel. Anyone else deal with this kind of shortcut?

Poured a whole quart of stop leak into a truck once, but it was an old Chevy S10. Guy said his buddy swore it'd fix the head gasket. Ended up clogging the heater core so bad the interior smelled like burnt honey for weeks. That water pump on your Freightliner is toast for sure, probably gonna find stop leak crusted in every corner of that cooling system.

Oh man, @mia442 you just described exactly what happened to my buddy's F250. He dumped a whole bottle in thinking he was being smart. Clogged the radiator, heater core, everything. Truck ran hot for months after that. Stop leak is basically liquid concrete in disguise.
