Appreciation post: My manual torque wrench's click is all the feedback I need
Manual wrenches build better mechanic sense than digital ones. Lots of shops swear by digital for exact settings, but feeling the click teaches you more. I trust my hands over a screen any day.

Wait, but here's a thing I've always wondered. What about when you really do need that exact number, like on something super precise or where specs are crazy tight? I get the feel thing, it's important. But doesn't depending only on the click maybe let a little too much of your own judgment into the mix? I guess I'm asking where you personally draw the line between trusting your hands and needing the hard number on a screen.

Totally agree! I learned on a click-type wrench and that physical feedback built real muscle memory. You just can't get the same connection from watching numbers on a display.
