That greenhouse shading tip from an old farmer actually worked

Last month I posted a screenshot of my Stardew greenhouse and someone commented that I should use the fiberglass roof panels instead of the glass ones because they diffuse light better for the berry rows. I thought it was nonsense, like who cares about light diffusion in a pixel game? But I tried it for one season and my cranberry yield went up by like 30%. Wild. I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't screenshot the harvest numbers. Has anyone else gotten oddly specific farming advice from a stranger that paid off?
