My cousin in Boise said to fish on rainy days in Stardew, and she was right
Back when I started playing Stardew three winters ago, I skipped every rainy day and just stayed in the mines. My cousin in Boise laughed at me and said rainy days are the best time to fish because certain ones only show up in that weather. I ignored her for like a year, then finally tried it and caught a catfish on my third cast, which I had been missing for ages. Now I check the weather channel on the TV every morning before I plan my day on the farm. What in game tips did you blow off at first and then wish you had listened to sooner?
