I used to fill every square inch of my Stardew farm, now I leave half of it empty on purpose
For my first two in game years I planted every single tile I owned because I thought empty land meant I was wasting money. By summer of year 3 I had over 600 crops going and I hated logging in, it felt like a job with a sprinkler habit. So I tore out about half the fields and put in a little pond with two ducks, a bench, and a path that just curves for no reason. My gold per day went down and I have never had more fun playing. Now my favorite screenshots are the boring ones, like rain on the barn roof at 6am before anything happens. Did anyone else go through a phase of min maxing before they learned to just chill, or is it still hard for you to leave that empty grass alone?
