Warning: Had to pick between two color lines for this balayage in Phoenix
Ngl I was stuck between Redken and Wella for this balayage on a client with really porous hair from past box dye. I went with Wella Color Touch because I figured the lower lift would be safer, but the ends still grabbed way darker than I wanted. Took me 45 extra minutes to tone it out with a demi. Any of you ever been stuck between two lines and pick wrong?

Started off totally Team Redken for years, thought it was the only way to go on porous hair. Then I had a client with similar box dye damage and used Redken, and it grabbed so unevenly I had to strip half of it and start over. Switched to Wella on the next porous head and it was way more forgiving, even if the ends need extra babysitting. So now I'm in the opposite boat - I'd pick Wella first for that texture, even though it takes more toning time.
