I just switched from a 1.5 inch curling iron to a 1.25 inch and it's a game changer

For years I thought bigger barrels gave better volume, but the smaller one gives my clients way more defined, lasting curls. I tried it on a client with fine hair last Thursday and she came back a week later with the waves still looking fresh. Anyone have a favorite heat protectant spray for this kind of tighter curl?

My old 1.5 inch barrel is collecting dust now. The 1.25 gives that perfect bounce without looking too tight. I swear by the Chi Iron Guard spray, it doesn't weigh the curls down at all. That smaller barrel really does lock the style in for days.

Yeah, I made the same switch last year. For heat protectant, I've had good luck with the Tresemme spray on tighter curls.
