Client told me my blush placement made her look older
Last week a regular client I've had for about 6 months finally spoke up and said my blush placement was dragging her face down. I was putting it right on the apples of her cheeks like I always do. She pulled up a photo from a makeup tutorial and showed me how placing it higher on the cheekbones lifts everything up instead. I tried it on my next two clients and they both mentioned looking more awake. Has anyone else had a client correct your technique and it actually turned out to be a game changer?

Read a pro MUA say blush placement is like a facelift in powder form.

Wait, @wendyk63's comment about blush being like a facelift in powder form is exactly what changed my whole approach after a client suggested I try it higher up. I totally had the same lightbulb moment when someone pointed out my blush was dragging down their whole face.
