Totally! I finally put up a long magnetic bar above my desk and it was a total game changer. I started with just scissors but then added my seam ripper, tweezers, even a small tape dispenser. It clears up so much drawer clutter and actually makes me put things back where they belong. The best part is just grabbing what you need without any digging around. It seems like a small thing but it makes the whole work process feel smoother.

What made you try a magnetic bar to keep your tools in order, @claire_grant16? It sounds like it really cleared up your desk. Do you ever worry about things falling off, or does it hold them well? I've seen similar ideas but never thought to add a tape dispenser. How has it changed the way you work every day?

Oh man, I feel this so hard... I've been meaning to do this exact thing forever. @the_rowan, I had the same worry about stuff falling, but my friend swears by hers too, says it's super strong. Just seeing it all laid out like Claire describes... it must make such a difference. I really need to stop just thinking about it and finally get one.
