Warning: My neighbor's garage sale almost started a fight last Saturday
I was helping my neighbor Sue run her garage sale last weekend over on Maple Street. Around 11 AM this guy shows up and starts haggling hard on a lamp that was already marked $3. He kept saying the cord was frayed and it wasn't worth a buck. Sue got upset and told him to leave, but he wouldn't back off until another neighbor came over and asked him to go. Has anyone else had a garage sale turn into a weird argument like that? What do you do when someone won't take no for an answer?

Haggling's part of the garage sale game though, the guy was just being annoying not dangerous.

Doubt it's that serious unless you're dealing with someone who won't take no for an answer. Most people just move on after a few tries if you hold your ground. Calling it dangerous feels like a stretch for a guy being annoying with lowball offers.
