Thought asking for advice on my block was pointless, then a neighbor in Cincinnati proved me wrong
When our street started planning a block party, I figured posting in the neighborhood app was just going to get ignored like usual. But this guy Dan in Cincinnati, who I had never even met, volunteered to bring his smoker and handle all the food for 40 people. We ended up with a real turnout and now I'm wondering what else I wrote off too fast. Has anyone else had a neighbor come through when you least expected it?
