Pro tip: Don't buy that cheap furniture assembly kit online

I dropped $35 on a 50-piece furniture assembly kit from a random site last month, thinking I'd save time and hassle. Turns out the hex keys stripped after two uses and the screwdriver handle snapped right off on the third chair leg. Anyone else get burned by those all-in-one tool bundles or am I just unlucky?

See I actually had the opposite experience with one of those cheap kits. Got a 40 piece set for like 20 bucks on Amazon a few months ago and it's still holding up fine after building three different furniture pieces. The hex keys aren't the best quality but they haven't stripped on me yet and the screwdriver is still in one piece. Maybe it depends on what brand you grab or you just got a dud batch. Wouldn't that be the worst luck though, spending good money on something that can't even handle basic use?
