Keep seeing people use trim paint for ceiling work then complain about drips

It's not the paint's fault you're using a 4-inch roller with air bubbles on a popcorn ceiling, I watched my neighbor in Phoenix spend 6 hours fixing that exact mistake last Saturday, has anyone else noticed how often the wrong tool gets blamed instead of the actual problem?

Doesn't matter how good the paint is if you're slapping it on a dirty or unprimed ceiling first.

Oh man, you are so right about that. I read somewhere that a painter who skipped priming ended up with the paint peeling off in big sheets a few months later because the old ceiling had this weird residue on it. It's one of those steps that feels like a pain in the neck at the time but saves you a headache down the road. Have you ever tried using a tinted primer for a specific color?
