Vent: A guy at the local shop told me my pull list was 'too mainstream' and it bugged me for days

He said I was missing all the indie gems, so I swapped out 3 of my Big Two books for some Image and Dark Horse titles he recommended. Anyone else get crap for their reading habits from other fans?

Yeah, swapped three books because some dude at the shop said so? That's letting a random opinion live too rent free in your head.

Agree @ryand26, I once traded four good albums for one because some clerk said it was "important" and I still cringe thinking about it.

Whoa wait, you traded FOUR albums for ONE? That's wild. I can't even pick one favorite album sometimes, let alone four. Hope that "important" record was like a signed copy or something really rare otherwise that clerk owes you some serious karma points. What was the album you got, anyway? I'm too curious now.
