DAE have that one comic shop visit that just felt like a punch in the gut?
Last Tuesday I went to my usual spot, The Panel Vault, to pick up my weekly pulls. The owner, who's usually super chill, was arguing with a customer who was yelling about variant covers being a 'scam for suckers'. It got so heated the owner asked him to leave. The whole vibe was ruined for like an hour, everyone was just quietly flipping through back issues. It made me wonder, should shop owners be more firm about keeping the peace, or is some level of loud debate just part of the comic fan experience? What's the line?
