The dude at my LCS who lectured me for 20 minutes on why Black Panther is 'overrated'

I was just trying to grab issue #1 of the new Ultimate Spider-Man run at my shop in Seattle, and this guy cornered me near the back issues to explain how T'Challa's tech doesn't make sense. Has anyone else had a random stranger at a comic shop try to debate you while you're just trying to pay for your books?

Yeah man that guy sounds like a TOTAL drag. Some people just can't let you enjoy a good comic, just grab your book and peace out.

Hart.taylor nails it honestly. This comic shop thing is just the same energy as people who judge you for reading a certain book on the train or listening to a band that's too mainstream for them. Everybody's got an opinion on what you should enjoy, but the secret is to just nod and let them talk while you keep doing your thing, lol.
