Spent 20 minutes deciding between graded or raw copies for my collection

I had a total crisis at my LCS last month over buying two copies of a key issue. One was a CGC 9.8 of Ultimate Fallout #4 for $450, the other was a raw copy for $60. I went with the raw one because I actually LIKE flipping through my books without a plastic slab in the way. Honestly the raw copy had some spine stress but I saved $390 and can still read the story. Has anyone else passed on a graded book just to save money and actually hold the comic?

Slabbing a comic you can't read is like framing a sandwich.
