Shoutout to the guy at the Portland comic con who showed me how to bag and board properly
I was at the Portland comic con about a year ago, just flipping through some dollar bins. This older collector next to me saw me putting a book back without a bag and just said, 'You're gonna get spine roll doing that.' He spent five minutes showing me his method: using Mylites2 bags with full backs, not half-backs, and making sure the book is centered before you tape it. I used to just shove them in whatever. Since then, I've re-bagged my whole collection of maybe 300 books. It takes longer but everything looks way better on the shelf. Anyone else have a specific brand of bag they swear by for modern books?

Mylites2 are the gold standard for a reason. That guy knew his stuff.
