My pull list at the shop got mixed up with some guy's and I drove 40 minutes for nothing
Stopped by my local shop in Rochester last Wednesday to grab my pulls and the owner handed me a stack that wasn't mine, all stuff I'd never read. Turned out some other guy with my same last name had his box filed right next to mine and the new kid at the counter grabbed the wrong one. Has this happened to anyone else, and did your shop ever get it sorted without you having to re-buy the issues?

A 40 minute drive is annoying but it's not like the guy handed you a box of garbage. He grabbed the wrong stack because two people share your last name, that's a filing problem, not some scam. You walked out empty handed? Did you even ask him to check the right box or did you just leave? Any decent shop will sort that in two minutes and toss you a discount on your next pull. Worst case you lost some gas money, that's hardly a crisis worth a thread.
