My comic shop pull list went from 14 books to 3 in about a year and a half, and the reason is kind of boring
I started tracking what I was actually reading vs what I was buying, and it turned out I was picking up stuff out of habit more than anything. Anyone else trim their pull list down and feel weirdly relieved about it?
Did you ever go back and read those books you dropped and realize you didn't miss them at all? That was the weird part for me. I had like six X-Men titles on my list and when I cut four of them I kept waiting to feel that itch, and it just never came. Same thing with all the Batman stuff, I was buying them because they were Batman, not because I liked what was happening in them. The relief is real though, it's like cleaning out a closet you forgot was full of junk.
