My comic box system went from a pile to a real catalog this year
I used to just shove new books into any box with space, but after my Amazing Spider-Man #300 got a tiny crease, I bought a label maker and started sorting by publisher and number. Now I can find any issue in under a minute, and it feels like a real collection. What's one small change you made that totally fixed your collecting habits?

That crease in your ASM #300 must have been a real gut punch. Did you go full spreadsheet with the catalog, or is it just the labels on the boxes that made the difference? I'm picturing a wall of white boxes with perfect little black letters.

Honestly, the "wall of white boxes" idea was exactly my old system. I used to think neat labels were enough. Finding that crease made me finally set up a full spreadsheet with notes on every flaw, which saved me from overpaying for another "nice" copy later.
