Hot take: The Walking Dead comics are way better than Invincible and nobody talks about it

I've read both runs twice now and Kirkman's zombie stuff just hits harder with the constant tension and character deaths that actually stick. Anyone else think Invincible gets too much praise for its action while TWD's slow burn storytelling gets overlooked?

Power scaling in Invincible got so absurd Mark was fighting ghosts of alternate universe versions of himself.

Wait, are we reading the same Invincible? I honestly think TWD gets way more respect than it deserves while Invincible is the one that's overlooked. Ngl, Invincible's power scaling gets messy and the ending feels rushed compared to how tight TWD's whole story is. Tbh, zombie fatigue makes people forget how good the comics actually are with their permanent consequences.
