Finally tracked down a missing issue #4 at a shop in Fresno after 6 months of hunting
I've been trying to finish a run of a 90s indie series for half a year and one issue just would not show up anywhere. I checked every shop near me, set up saved searches on three sites, and even posted on a couple of boards with no luck. It was issue #4, and every seller either wanted $40 for it or had it bundled with stuff I already owned. Last Saturday I walked into a small shop on Van Ness in Fresno while visiting my brother and there it was in a $3 bin, a little dinged up but totally readable. I stood there for like 10 seconds just staring at it. Six months of searching for a $3 book, kind of silly but I'm honestly stoked. Anyone else have a run where one single issue just refuses to turn up?
