Finally finished reading that 90s X-Men crossover I started in 8th grade
After 25 years I got through the whole Onslaught saga and honestly the twist with Franklin Richards made the whole thing worth it even if the ending was a mess, anyone else have a story arc they sat on for decades before finishing?

Honestly, the "ending was a mess" part is exactly what kept me from reading it for years. I heard so many people complain about it that I just figured it wasn't worth my time. But when I finally sat down with it, I actually liked how wild and crazy everything got, even if it didn't wrap up cleanly. Franklin Richards being the key to the whole thing was a solid payoff though, that kid was always way too powerful anyway.

Ngl, do you think people just hated it because they wanted something more predictable, or did the chaos actually feel lazy in parts? I remember some scenes feeling like they wrote themselves into a corner and just punched through the wall instead.
