Warning: that fancy cold brew setup I bought lasted exactly one week before I gave up

I dropped $80 on a nitro cold brew maker from a shop in Portland because everyone swore it was a game changer, but after three mornings of cleaning the damn thing and getting weak coffee, I went back to my French press. Turns out I just hate the whole process of steeping and filtering for 24 hours when I can make a decent cup in 4 minutes. Has anyone else had a trendy coffee gadget that totally flopped for you?

Turns out most fancy kitchen gadgets just add more steps to something that already worked fine.

I bought one of those fancy garlic presses and now I just use the side of a knife again... guess I'm just a simple creature of habit.
