Tried the 4:6 pour method on my usual $8 beans and I swear they taste like a totally different roast
I grabbed a bag of the same medium roast I buy every two weeks and did the 4:6 method for the first time, 5 pours total with 45 second gaps, and the cup came out way sweeter with almost no bite at the end. Same beans, same grinder, same water, only thing different was how I poured. I ran it again the next morning to make sure I wasn't fooling myself, and yeah, same result both times. Now I'm wondering what other beans I've been drinking flat this whole time, any of you mess with pour timing this much or do you just leave it alone once you find something you like?
