TIL my local cafe in Portland changed their pour-over method last week

They switched from a slow, single pour to a faster multi-pour technique. The barista said it makes a 'brighter' cup, but I think it lost some body. Has anyone else tasted a difference with this change?

Wait they changed the pour-over method and didn't even tell people first? That's wild to me. My whole week is built around that morning cup. If my spot switched it up without a heads up, I'd be so thrown off. The body is the best part, why would they mess with that?

You ever try that new place over on 5th, uma_mitchell83? They had a killer single-origin pour-over last month, but I went in yesterday and the whole taste was thin, like they switched to a faster drip. Didn't say a word about it. Makes you wonder if it's just a cost thing.
